Satykam foundation is a nonprofit whose mission is to do everything possible to help children living in orphanages and similar institution reach their potential. We create a two-way bridge of meaningful connection between children in need and caring people who have the means to help. We aim to change lives on both sides of the bridge. Fundraising is the lifeblood of orphans in need, without it we wouldn’t be able to continue delivering support to so many children around the world. It takes extraordinary people who want to do something, not just talk about it, to make our fundraising a success. We are so grateful to all of those special people who have taken action in order to donate more to our organization.

Satykam’s role is to find a suitable education project run by a nonprofit organization in Gujarat which targets children in this project and facilitates linking sponsors with individual children. Satykam follows through by disbursing and monitoring the sponsor’s funds. It works with both sponsors and the projects in Gujarat to obtain regular progress reports of the children and build a strong sponsor-child communication. The sponsor can also arrange a visit with his child through Satykam and the project coordinators in Gujarat. Satykam for education is not involved with any adoption process through the program.

India has around 100 million elders (people over 60 years of age) and the number is estimated to reach 323million, or 20% of the total population, by 2050

70% of the world’s poor are women and girls. We’re on a mission to change that. We invest in poor women to help them change their lives. If women farmers had access to the same resources as men, more than 150 million additional people would have enough food to eat. We aim to make that a reality.
